Terms of Service

Welcome to Budgiminar. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Budgiminar, Inc. about your use of the Site and our webinar services (“Services”). By accessing the Site or registering for any session, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.
1. About our service
Budgiminar is an educational platform. We offer live, instructor-led webinars that teach general budgeting methods, planning habits, and practical skills for households, projects, and small businesses. We also provide downloadable workbooks, templates, replays of sessions, and an on-demand library for members. Our content is designed for general education and information only. It is not financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and it does not create any client, advisory, or fiduciary relationship. Please read our Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. Your account and registration
To reserve a seat or purchase access, you may be asked to provide a name and a valid email address. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your email address. If you believe your registration details have been misused, contact us at [email protected]. Our Services are intended for individuals aged 18 and older.
3. Purchases, payments, and pricing
All prices are shown in US dollars. Payment is processed by a third-party payment processor at the time of purchase; we do not store full card details. By purchasing, you authorize the charge described at checkout. Prices may change from time to time; changes do not affect purchases already made. Passes expire as described on the Pricing page, and memberships renew monthly until cancelled. Cancellation and refund terms are set out in our Cancellation & Refunds page, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
4. Access, sessions, and replays
When you register for a session, we send a link to join the live webinar. Sessions are capped in size to preserve quality; seats are confirmed on a first-come basis. Registered learners receive the session workbook and, where applicable, a replay link. Replay access windows are described on the relevant product page. We may cancel or reschedule a session for reasons beyond our control; if we cancel, you may choose a full refund or a seat in the rescheduled session. We record the host's screen and voice for replay purposes. Participants are not recorded on camera or audio, and chat is used only to produce written summaries for attendees.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) share your session link, pass, or membership access with people outside your household or organization, unless you purchased team seats; (b) record, redistribute, or resell our sessions, workbooks, or materials without written permission; (c) use the Site or Services for any unlawful purpose; (d) harass, threaten, or discriminate against hosts or other participants; (e) attempt to disrupt sessions or gain unauthorized access to our systems; (f) misrepresent your identity or affiliation; or (g) use our content to provide competing services. We may remove any participant who violates this section, without a refund except as required by law.
6. Intellectual property
The Site, its design, the Budgiminar name and logo, session content, workbooks, templates, and all other materials we create are owned by Budgiminar, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services and downloaded materials for your own learning. Everything else is reserved.
7. User content
Questions, messages, and chat you submit during sessions or through the Site may be used to improve our curriculum and to answer your questions. You grant us a non-exclusive license to use such content for these purposes. Please do not share sensitive personal details in chat; sessions are educational and not confidential advisory settings.
8. Disclaimers
The Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that content is complete or current, or that any particular outcome will result from using our materials. Budgeting outcomes depend on individual circumstances, and we make no guarantees about results. Our educational content is provided for general information only; see the Disclaimer for the full statement of what our content is and is not.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Budgiminar, Inc., its officers, employees, and hosts will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or Services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Budgiminar, Inc. and its team from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services, except where caused by our own negligence or misconduct.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We encourage you to contact us first with any concern at [email protected], and we will work in good faith to resolve it. Any legal dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that requires otherwise, that jurisdiction's mandatory protections apply.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by email to registered learners. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Cancellation & Refunds page, and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and Budgiminar regarding the Services.
