Accessibility Statement

Budgiminar believes that learning to plan a budget should be open to everyone. This statement describes our commitment to making budgiminar.top and our live webinars accessible to people with disabilities, in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
1. Our commitment
We design, build, and review the Site with accessibility as a requirement, not an afterthought. That means semantic HTML, clear heading structure, keyboard-operable navigation, sufficient color contrast, and text alternatives for meaningful images. Our goal is that every page can be read, navigated, and understood with a screen reader, a keyboard, or assistive technology, on desktop and mobile devices.
2. Accessibility features of the Site
- Keyboard navigation. All menus, links, forms, and FAQ accordions can be operated with the keyboard alone, and a visible “skip to content” link is available at the top of every page.
- Screen-reader support. Pages use semantic landmarks (header, main, footer), descriptive link text, labeled form fields, and appropriate ARIA attributes. Decorative icons are hidden from assistive technology so they do not create noise.
- Contrast and readability. The color palette was chosen for strong contrast, text sizes are generous, and we avoid relying on color alone to convey meaning — status chips also carry text labels.
- Images. Every meaningful image on the Site includes descriptive alternative text.
- Responsive layout. The Site is usable at common zoom levels and on small screens without loss of content or function.
- Reduced motion. Animated elements (such as the small equalizer indicator) are purely decorative; we keep animation minimal and respect the user's reduced-motion preference where the browser exposes it.
3. Accessibility features of our webinars
- Live captions are enabled by default in every session.
- Chat and Q&A participation means you never have to speak or unmute if you prefer not to.
- Camera use is optional and never required.
- Materials in advance. Workbooks are provided as simple, screen-reader-friendly documents, and the session brief is sent before air time.
- Replays and summaries. Registered learners receive a replay link for seven days and a written summary of questions and answers.
4. Known limitations
Some limitations exist because our sessions run on third-party video platforms, whose players we do not control. Where a platform's controls are not fully accessible, we aim to provide alternatives: joining by audio, receiving materials by email, or watching the replay with captions. If a limitation prevents you from participating, please tell us — we will work with you to find a workable arrangement, including a possible alternative session format.
5. Standards and testing
We develop toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA and test pages with automated checks and manual keyboard review as part of our publishing process. We also review new features before launch. Accessibility is an ongoing effort: as the Site evolves, we re-check and improve.
